Camille Linson
Of Counsel Camille Linson has wide-ranging experience in the field of information technology and Internet law. She has negotiated and drafted software, hardware and database licensing agreements, software development agreements, software escrow agreements, website development, hosting, linking, service and maintenance agreements.
Linson has also assisted publicly and closely held corporations and LLCs through the processes of formation and dissolution. She has advised clients in connection with a broad range of company issues, including drafting and post-incorporation documents, negotiating and drafting third-party agreements, and forming, maintaining and dissolving relationships with employees and independent contractors. She has obtained trademarks, negotiated and drafted settlement agreements, and advised on a wide range of issues including corporate governance, US and European data privacy requirements and data security breach response requirements.
Practicing law in New York for over 10 years, Camille Linson has also worked in Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Germany. Her language skills include German, French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Linson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Harvard University, and her Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt School of Law. She has matriculated at Oxford University in England, and at Heidleberg and Humboldt Universities in Germany, examining issues of German and European law.
Prior to founding her own law practice in 2005, Linson served seven years as an associate and outside counsel with the law firm of Beck & Arad, LLP in New York City, and outside counsel to Planet Group, Inc., a corporation located in Long Beach, New York, and registered on the London Stock Exchange's AIM Market.
