Nicola Barker, Novelist

Barker's uproariously witty book of letters, Burley Cross PostBox Theft, was released in the UK in April 2010.  You can learn more about Nicola Barker by reading the Guardian's May 1, 2010 author interview .  Her previous novel was the 838-page epic, "Darkmans," which was selected for the 2007 Booker Prize short list.  This critically acclaimed British fiction writer was longlisted for the Man Booker prize in 2004 for "Clear", a novel inspired by David Blaine's dramatic suspension over East London.
