RUSSELL KOPLIN – The David McDonogh Project
Russell Koplin is an actress and film producer whose credits span screen and stage and include Iron Fist (2017), The Brooklyn Banker (2016), and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001).
Most recently, she co-produced The Language of Sight: The David McDonogh Project with her father, Richard Koplin MD, a play by award-winning playwright Judy Tate. The project honors Lafayette College’s first Black graduate and America’s first Black ophthalmologist, who achieved this while still enslaved, bringing history and artistry together to celebrate achievement, resilience, and untold stories.
