The Rolling Jubilee Fund - initiative of OWS Strike Debt.

Inspired by the principles of the Occupy Wall Street movement, The Rolling Jubilee Fund was formed in 2013 to bring attention to the economic injustice wrought by the lending institution industrial complex in the US. The group believes that debt unites the 99%. All but the wealthiest Americans are burdened by student loans, unpaid hospital bills, exorbitant credit card interest rates and more. Using an ingenious new method of freeing those enslaved by debt, the Rolling Jubilee buys debt for pennies in the dollar on behalf of the debtors, and then forgives ("abolishes") it.
